Mitsuhiro Arita Tour
I just want to take a minute here to look back at our recent Mitsuhiro Arita tour that started in Rotterdam, took us through Antwerp (Mekanik-Strip), Langenfeld (BBrothers Store), Ghent (World's End Comics) and ended in Amsterdam (Henk Comics).
We started off in Rotterdam, where Mitsuhiro Arita agreed to do an exclusive kids-only signing. Then the tour officially kicked-off with our first stop in Antwerp, where the first lucky group of fans had the opportunity to meet Mitsuhiro Arita in person and go home with a nice selection of exclusive merchandise and a unique piece of art drawn by Mitsuhiro Arita in each of their Cinematic Collection sketchbooks. The tour then continued and gave many die-hard fans in Germany the first ever chance to meet their master and (childhood idol) in person at the BBrothers Store in Langenfeld. It was a long, entertaining and legendary day, one to remember for years and years to come for sure! That trip was quite exhausting, but thankfully we had a nice and more relaxed visit the next day in Ghent. The tour ended with a blast on Tuesday November 22nd, in Amsterdam over at Henk Comics we successfully managed to satisfy all of Mitsuhiro Arita's fans that made it out. Local fans attended but also quite a few made the journey and effort to meet Mitsuhiro Arita by travelling from Belgium, Germany, England and even Italy. We made many new friends along the way and, I feel, we closed off the tour in the most positive way imaginable. Mitsuhiro happy, fans happy, participating stores happy, team Rotterdam happy and creating great memories for everyone involved.
